Since moving from Mexico at the age of 5 I’ve been on a journey to define what México means to my identity. These images showcase what I have come up with through the years through my travels around my home country. This is an ongoing process, which might be indefinite. I have come to realize that as Mexican singer/songwriter, Luis Miguel’s song “Mexico en la Piel” says, Mexico is made up of all the unique aspects that make it special; the food, the people, the culture, the history, the architecture, the environment, etc., but in the need it’s how you experience it through your skin.
